Rainbow Easter Bunnies

Hello my friends, I'm sharing a rainbow easter bunny card using Simon Says Hoppy Birthday 4" x 6" stamp set, the Hoppy Birthday co-ordinating set of dies and sentiments using Simon Says Ear-resistably Cute 6" x 8" stamp set and dies.

I stamped the bunny image from Simon Says Hoppy Birthday on to scraps of Distress Watercolor card inked with Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Uncharted Mariner and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide inks.
and die-cut using the co-ordinating Hoppy Birthday dies
I fixed the bunnies in rainbow order on to Distress Watercolor card trimmed to 4.3/4" x 6.3/4", the back row fixed flat with Distress Collage Medium and the front row popped up on foam squares to create dimension.
I stamped the sentiments from Simon Says Ear-resistably Cute 6" x 8" stamp set on to Distress Watercolor card, inked with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and die-cut using the co-ordinating dies. I used the sentiment dies to cut extra pieces to layer behind the sentiments to create dimension.
I stamped the hearts from the Hoppy Birthday stamp set on to Distress Watercolor card, inked with Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink, die-cut with the co-ordinating dies, fixed to the card with foam squares and added Ranger Glossy Accents to the hearts and used to add dots on the background. I fixed the die-cut layered sentiments in place with Distress Collage Medium.
To finish I matted the panel on to Distress Black HeavyStock, trimmed to leave a small border and fixed to a 5" x 7" top folding white card blank.

I covered the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Etcetera Tag with the Studio Light Grunge Collection  8" x 8" paper using Distress Collage Medium and a Distress Collage Brush.
I sanded the edges using a Tim Holtz Mini Round Blending Tool and Sanding Disk to remove the excess paper and added 3 of the ephemera pieces from the Studio Light Grunge Paper Elements Frames and Texts pack.
I applied Distress Grit Paste Opaque through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Script Mini Layering Stencil from Set 49 and sprinkled with a mix of Bundled Sage and Walnut Stain Distress Embossing Glazes.
Once the Distress Grit Paste had dried, I heat set to melt the Embossing Glazes.

I fixed the floral ephemera in place popped up on 3D foam pads and added a twine bow.

Simon Says - Hoppy Birthday

Hello my friends, Spring has definitely arrived in my little corner of the planet, blue skies and warm sunshine for a week or so and I've been spending lots of time tidying up in the garden, getting ready for planting up lots of pots with summer colour and giving the lawn it's first haircut of 2025. But I did manage to sneak into the cubbyhole and make some cute Spring birthday cards using Simon Says Hoppy Birthday 4" x 6" stamp set, the co-ordinating dies, the beautiful Argyle Builder set of stencils and pastel shades of Distress Oxide inks.

I die-cut Distress Watercolor card using Simon Says Postage Edge Wafer dies to create 2 - 3.1/2" x 4.3/4" panels.
I used Simon Says Argyle Builder set of 3 stencils to colour the panels with Spun Sugar, Cracked Pistachio and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide inks, applied with Simon Says Round Detail Blending Brushes and used Simon Says Intense Black ink with the third stencil to add the stitched detail.
I inked the floral cluster from Simon Says Hoppy Birthday 4" x 6" stamp set, inked with Simon Says Intense Black ink and stamped on to the panels. I stamped the bunny and heart from the stamp set on to a scrap of Distress Watercolor card, inked with Spun Sugar and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink, stamped the floral cluster over the bunnies and die-cut using the matching Hoppy Birthday set of water dies. I coloured a scrap of Distress Watercolor with the same Distress Oxide colours, stamped the sentiment and die-cut.
I trimmed Mini Pom Poms to create a flat back and fixed to the bunnies using Distress Collage Medium
I fixed the bunnies, sentiments and hearts in place with Simon Says 3D foam squares, matted the panel on to white card, trimmed to 3.1/2" x 4.3/4"", matted again on to Cotton Candy and Lemon Chiffon Simon Says Cardstock trimmed to 3.2/4" x 5" and fixed to A2 white card blanks. To finish I added Ranger Glossy Accents to the hearts.

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...
HIP HOP !
I created Easter themed cards using Tim Holtz Idea-ology Vault 8" x 8" Wallflower Paper and Serpendity Collage Paper for the background, Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Hippity Hop and Vault Wildflower Thinlits die-cut from Sizzix Revealz Sandable Spiced Cardstock.
I trimmed Tim Holtz/Idea-ology 8" x 8" Vault Wallflower Paper to create 2 - 4" x 5.1/4" panels and fixed torn strips of the script Serendipity Collage Paper in place with Distress Collage Medium.
I fixed Tim Holtz/Sizzix Adhesive Sheets to Sizzix Surfacez Revealz Spiced Sandable Cardstock, die-cut using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Hippity Hop Thinlits and sanded back using Tim Holtz Mini Round Blending Tool and a Distress Sanding Disk.
I repeated the process with the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Vault Wildflowers Thinlits and fixed the die-cuts to the panels using Distress Collage Medium.
I trimmed one of the Wallflower Paper to create ephemera pieces, inked around the edges with Scorched Timber Distress Ink using a Tiny Blending Tool, fixed to the panels with Distress Collage Medium and inked around the edges of the panel with Scorched Timber Distress Ink.
I applied Distress Grit Paste Opaque through the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Mini Dot Gradient Layering Stencil from Set 39.

Simon Says - Use Ephemera/Layer It Up

Hi Everyone...welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us for last week's challenge and we hope you can join us this week too because

and the theme for this week is...
USE EPHEMERA/LAYER IT UP
I had great fun layering up ephemera in my Dina Wakley Media Ledger Journal using Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Collage Strips Large, Serendipity Collage Paper, Layer Frames Montage, Transparent Wings, Mini Marquee Letters and Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Dot Gradient Mini Layering Stencil from Set 39 with Distress Grit Paste Opaque to add some texture.
I began by applying a skimpy coat of White Gesso over the journal pages using a Small Distress Brayer. I fixed Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Collage Strips Large in place using Distress Collage Medium. I applied water with a paintbrush around the edge of the floral image from Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Serendipity Collage Paper and teased away the excess with my finger. I then fixed the pieces of collage paper to the pages using Distress Collage Medium and applied Distress Collage Medium over the pages using a Distress Collage Brush.
I applied Walnut Stain Distress Crayon on the edges of the Collage Strips to create shadows, Mustard Seed Distress Crayon to the flowers on the collage paper and blended the crayons using a damp finger. I added a Tim Holtz/Idea-ology Layering Frame, butterfly from Idea-ology Transparent Wings and Idea-ology Mini Marquee Letters and Numbers, all fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium.
I added extra pieces of Serendipity Collage Paper to fill in some of the blanks and applied Distress Grit Paste Opague through Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Gradient Dots Mini Layering Stencil from Set 39.
To finish I added splatters of Distress Black Soot Paint.
